So I spur of the moment took the kids to Disney last week.
It might sound crazy, but it's not. It's something I used to do before they were ever in school. I used to throw them in the car, they would both sleep the entire way up. We would eat lunch, walk around, look at stuff, then climb back into the car and drive home. And they would typically sleep the entire way back. It was an easy day for me. I don't know why I stopped. School I suppose. Life has a funny way of getting in the way. Anyhow, it was the best decision I've had in a while.
We left our house after lunch. The plan was just to walk around Disney Springs for a while. Eat dinner somewhere. Drive home. Simple enough.
They were a bit luggage-obsessed. Maybe it is because of our recent travels.
We will definitely be repeating this multiple times this summer.
What are you doing to keep the kids entertained this summer?
