Christmas seems to last all month long... decorating the house, decorating the tree, baking/decorating/eating Christmas cookies, holiday parties, buying/wrapping gifts. All that before the main event of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. And I love every crazy, stressful minute of it. Christmas season at our house starts the morning after Thanksgiving. The Elf (Elvis) shows up. We start decorating the house. This year, we broke down and bought our first fake tree. We will be leaving town right after Christmas, and I think I'd rather come home to a fake tree still decorated than a dead real tree. Full disclosure: I dislike fake trees. I much prefer a real one. But the one we have isn't so terrible.
Onto the next event... Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.
