When Thanksgiving ends, the Christmas season officially begins. We are traditionalists... we do not do any Christmas until after we stuff our faces with turkey.
The kids go up to bed on Thanksgiving night and wake up on Black Friday to find that annoying elf.
Our elf brings Christmas jammies when he first arrives. And this year was no different.

Rea wanted to have her own Thanksgiving post.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. The long weekend was so nice and much needed. I always love it when the kids and Stu are home.
I really love it when I get to experience things through the eyes of my kiddos. On Thanksgiving, we ate breakfast as a family (with Grammie and Grandpa too). While we were at the table, Rea suggested we go around the table and say what we are each thankful for. Excellent idea.
We went in order of age... Buddy was last. he bolted away from the table.
When he returned, he had drawn a fabulous picture of us at the table with a giant heart above it. He said he was thankful for his family all eating together. |
ObsessedThere is little I like more than a holiday! Something about the energy of the day makes me giddy. Categories
