I realize I am WAY behind on the blog. And yes, Easter was almost a month ago, but I still want to share ours with you.
We didn't do much in the way of Easter at home. We painted eggs like normal (which I wanted to skip, but Riley insisted), and the kids stuffed some plastic eggs. I opted for larger, more adorable plastic "eggs" this year. At Michaels and Publix, I found these cuties:
2nd Annual Rockin' Egg Hunt
The week prior to Easter, our church hosted the second Rockin' Egg Hunt. It was TONS of fun. We had a wonderful turn out. I am quite proud of how it turned out. Here are some of the highlights:
I can't even remember how many plastic eggs we had out for the kids to find. They had that yard picked clean in less than 5 minutes.
Of course there was a bounce house. What child-centered event would be complete without one? And photos of kids bouncing are always funny.
And that was our Easter. I hope yours was just as fun.
There is little I like more than a holiday! Something about the energy of the day makes me giddy.
