My kids love music. It surrounds us. The kids play DJ in the car by choosing songs. We have dance parties at night.
I read somewhere when a person is happy, the beat and melody take center stage and when a person is sad, the lyrics stand out. That was interesting to me. It is probably generally true... A while ago it dawned on me that my kids pay close attention to lyrics too. We have lengthy conversations about some songs and their meanings.
So I have decided to share some of my favorite music lyrics and the lessons we can take away from them.
