We had a guest preacher come to our church on Sunday night. His lesson was interesting. It was about how we matter. Each of us matters. We matter to God. We matter to someone on earth. Our lives are not pointless or useless. We matter so much that God sent His son to die for each of us - not some random, faceless person half way around the world. Although, yes, that person too. He sent Jesus here to save you. To save me. Because we matter. And because of God's action, we do need to question whether He loves us. He did something to prove it.
So I was thinking about my post about the rafts. And I was thinking about a few conversations I have had recently with a few people. And add those to the sermon I heard, I came to this conclusion: actions will always speak louder than words.
I know, how cliche. But, it's totally true. It's something I have been trying to teach my kids. It's something I have been trying to teach my husband, too.
Family & Life
Nothing super fancy here. Probably not life changing either. But you might enjoy a peek into our world.
