After we visited Montezuma Castle, we climbed back on the bus and headed off for Sedona.
First order of business in Sedona was lunch. The smallest Stus were melting. Fast. The hanger spiral was taking hold.
Our stop in Sedona was about 2 hours. After lunch, we just wandered around. Meandering in and out of the touristy shops.
Sedona has a super cool, artsy vibe. Reagan was digging it.
As I mentioned, we spent our 2 hours in the tourist part of town. Even though it caters to out-of-towners, I loved it. It was clean. The air was nice and dry. The sun was shining. We could not have asked for nicer weather... some of the photos looked faked because of the incredible blue sky, but I assure you I did not touch them up.
We finished off our Sedona visit with ice cream from the Canyon Breeze. This was the best Rocky Road ice cream I have had, maybe ever. It was absolutely the perfect thing on this beautifully hot and sunny afternoon.
That pretty much sums up Sedona. Next up, the thing Riley was dying for: the Grand Canyon.
In case you missed it, our flight out, our big trip itinerary and our quick stop at Montezuma Castle have been posted.
We love to travel. Although our roaming souls often come back to the same places.
